* Mike Reid played Frank Butcher, who became landlord of the Queen Vic pub in the fictional London square from 1988, when he bought the pub from Dennis Alan 'Dirty Den' Watts. His character was married to Peggy Mitchell, played by Barbara Windsor, from 1999-2002.
