This alien-looking fossil is a rich seabed portion of very detailed Eocrinoids of the genus Ascocystites collected near Kaid Errami, Morocco. Splendid specimen of life on earth of 450 million years ago This plate has over 20 specimens on both sides! The bright yellow-orange colour due to the oxidation of iron pyrite is beautiful and showy, the pink colour of the matrix stands out quite well. The largest specimen on the plate is more than 10 cm long, a top specimen! An interesting aspect: the specimens are oriented in the same direction, indicating a sea current at the time of death. NOTE: the fossil in question has not been coloured or improved, not manipulated in any way. A 100% original finding. The stand is included.
