Eddystone Model Of 1917 Bolt Action Rifle .30-06 Caliber
This Model of 1917 rifle was built by Eddystone in 1918. The rifle features a guarded dovetailed blade front sight on a 26" barrel with a "W" marked barrel with a 11-17 barrel date and flaming bomb cartouche. The receiver is marked "U.S. Model of 1917 Eddystone" on top and a flaming bomb cartouche and inspector stamps on the left side. The rear of the receiver is fitted with a rear aperture ladder sight, Mauser style bolt release, and safety lever. The bolt is marked "E" for Eddystone. The stock is missing the stacking swivel, but fitted with sling swivels and an M1907 leather sling. The rear stock is fitted with a steel butt plate with empty storage compartment. LOP: 13 1/2".
