Eddystone Model Of 1917 Bolt Action Rifle With Bayonet .30-06 Caliber
This Model of 1917 rifle was built by Eddystone in 1918. The rifle features a guarded dovetailed blade front sight on a 26" barrel with a 5-18 barrel date with "E" and flaming bomb cartouche. The receiver is marked "U.S. Model of 1917 Eddystone" and the left side has the flaming bomb cartouche with inspection stamps and Mauser style bolt release. The rear of the receiver is fitted with a rear aperture ladder sight and safety lever on the right. The bolt, along with most visible parts are marked "E" for Eddystone. The stock is missing the stacking swivel but fitted with the sling swivels and a M1907 Leather sling and capped off with steel butt plate and empty storage compartment. Included with the rifle is a Remington marked 1917 bayonet with leather scabbard. LOP: 13 1/2". CALIBER/GA: 30-06. S/N: 627057. FFL: Curio & Relic.
