Conceived in wax circa 1865-68; this example cast in bronze by the A.A. Hébrard Foundry, Paris, by 1924.
Condition Report:
This work is in very good condition. Bronze with dark brown patina. Very minor rubbing to the patina at the horse's withers. Minor instances of verdigris on the underside of the base.
