Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan and the Lion Man Second Edition Hardcover (Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., 1935)....

Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan and the Lion Man Second Edition Hardcover (Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., 1935). Hollywood gets the Burroughs treatment in this second edition of his seventeenth Tarzan novel, a sharp adventure that sends a film company into Africa and puts a Tarzan look-alike in the middle of the trouble. This printing states "Second Edition" on the copyright page and is slightly narrower than the first. J. Allen St. John supplied five interior illustrations, while the reprint received a redesigned St. John dust jacket based on one of those images. The book retains the gray cloth format associated with the earlier printing, with black lettering and decoration. Especially appealing here is the original dust jacket, which survives in Near Fine condition. The book itself is in Very Good condition. From the Robert “Bob” Barrett Collection.
