Edgar Rice Burroughs The Land That Time Forgot First Edition Hardcover (A.C. McClurg & Co., 1924)....
Edgar Rice Burroughs The Land That Time Forgot First Edition Hardcover (A.C. McClurg & Co., 1924). A first edition copy of one of Edgar Rice Burrough's longest and most popular books, which had a sizeable print run of 10,000. Though the dust jacket is in a Poor, partial condition (missing its back cover), it still displays the fantastical work of J. Allen St. John, whose work continues in the four interior plates. Making up for the partial cover, the copy includes a facsimile version encased in an additional clear plastic, slip-on sleeve for additional protection. The book itself is bound in a lovely olive green with black lettering that seems to have turned blued over time. From the Robert “Bob” Barrett Collection.
