Huge Japanese blue and white porcelain Imari charger plate. Decorated in underglaze blue with various panels, the largest panel decorated with a peacock perched on a branch, surrounded by blossom, a further panel decorated with three men, one on horseback, surrounded by a mountainous landscape and trees, with further panels of lotuses, foliage, shooting bamboo and geometric patterns, the verso decorated with perching birds.
