Condition Report: Unlined canvas. Frame abrasion at extreme edges, not visible when framed. An extremely faint, approximately 5-inch hairline scratch running horizontally in center of work, approximately 4-1x2 inches up from lower edge. Uneven yellowing to the varnish layer, most visible in the sky at upper right.
Under UV: heavily applied varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Possible strengthening applied to darkest tones. Some modern pigments fluoresce, the orange tones in particular.
