Other Notes: Starting in the summer of 1908, Vuillard lived for 18 years in a fifth floor apartment overlooking the Place Vintimille (now the Place Adolf-Max) in Paris' 9th arrondissement.
Condition Report: Overall good condition. Very soft cockling along the upper and lower sheet edges. A preliminary painted sketch for an alternate composition, most likely in the hand of the artist, verso. Strips of old brown paper tape along the verso of the sheet edges. The work is hinged to the overmat with two pieces of white archival tape from the verso of the upper sheet edge.Framed under glass: 18.5" H x 20.5" W x 2.5" D Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request. The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free from defects or restoration, nor does a reference to particular defects imply the absence of others.
