Condition Report: On stable panel. Frame abrasion at edges. Surface dust. Faint, finely patterned craquelure throughout. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: streaky varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Retouching applied to address aforementioned frame abrasion at edges. Apparent strengthening to rosy points of the figure's cheeks and chin; this particular orange pigment, seen elsewhere in the work, fluoresces.
