Edward Beyer is known for his paintings of cities and landscapes, often in Virginia. However, Beyer was known to have lived in Cincinnati in the early 1850's. His panoramic painting of the Cincinnati riverfront is in the collection of the Dayton Art Institute. The location of this house and view were painstakingly researched and will be provided to any who wish to know how this attribution was made.
