Signed "Edward Seago" l.l., titled in an inscription on the reverse, with labels from Pieter Wenning Gallery, Johannesburg, affixed to the reverse.
Oil on Masonite, 16 x 24 in. (40.6 x 61.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Minor surface grime.

There are varnish inconsistencies, most notably at upper right (in the upper half of the tree closest to the right edge). There are scattered small abrasions (these could be part of the artist's process). Areas near the upper edge at center and the right edge at center seem to have been left unpainted. There are minor frame abrasions near the edges.

Frame dimensions: 21 x 29 x 1 1/4 in.
