Edward Steichen Improvisation 1925 Photograph

Steichen, Edward (Luxembourg/American, 1879-1973), Improvisation - George Washington, taken c.1925, gelatin silver photograph, printed in 1982 by George Tice from the original negative, in an edition of 100 authorized by the Steichen estate, sheet 9.25 x 7.5 inches, mounted to a white backing board 20 x 16 inches, unframed. Signed by Tice and Joanna Steichen (the photographer's widow) on a label affixed to the verso of the backing board.
