Struck in the penultimate year of Edward VII’s reign, this Perth Sovereign belongs to the early years of the Western Australian mint, which had opened in 1899.

Graded PCGS MS62, the present example survives in Mint State, with only seventeen specimens certified finer by PCGS. A desirable late-reign issue for collectors assembling a run of Perth Sovereigns in uncirculated condition.
