This early print, on paper with a surface sheen and mounted to thick board, is in generally excellent condition. Visible under raking light are three penpoint-sized matte deposits of indeterminate nature to the left of the sitter's mouth and on her neck. A few short scratches, one of which may break the emulsion, are visible in the sitter's forehead. Also visible is an approximately 1-inch vertical scratch near the sitter's hairline that does not appear to break the emulsion.
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
