Provenance: with Clarges Gallery, London, December 1969: together with two further drawings in pencil on paper by the same artist to include those entitled Boats at San Remo, signed, inscribed and dated 'E W. Cooke. St. REMO.Sept. 17. 45' (lower right), 7 x 11.4 cm and the other Paddle boats of the Leopard, inscribed 'Paddle-box boats of the Leopard' (lower left) and 'yellowish/colour.' (on the hull of the foremost boat), 7.9 x 12.4 cm. Provenance: with Martyn Gregory, London, February 1990, for the latter, (3) (mounted, unframed)
