Edwardian 2.85ct Australian OPAL & Old Euro DIAMOND

This breathtakingly beautiful Edwardian dazzler features a Round Cabochon Australian OPAL and DIAMONDS designed in a Bombe shaped ring that sparkles on all sides with Old European cut diamonds. G-H-I color, VS- SI clarity, totaling to estimated 1.03ct diamonds adorned with decorative hand piercing, and delicate mil-grain details.
The center Opal is approx. 2.0ct ( 1.82ct), white body color and exceptional play-of-color: Pink, Green and Blue main Splashes of color.
Ring measures on the top: 9.93mmx5.52mm.
Sits medium on the finger 5.88mm, very shiny and brilliant.
The band tappers to 1.68mm on the bottom.
The weight of Platinum ( tested) is 4.75 grams.
Finger size 5 1/2, can be re-sized.
The setting has wonderful open work, as each surrounding diamond has beautiful mil-grained edges, and a soft carved design down the shank that shows little the wear of a well loved ring. Center Opal is in great condition with no visible bruising/chipping, possibly later replacement or re-polishing of the original one . All wear would be consistent with age and use. This ring has been professionally polished and ready for immediate wear!
