Description: From the style we know this pendant is Edwardian, made in France circa 1905 to 1915 is made of platinum and gold with French hallmarks and several lovely rose cut diamonds. Obviously made for a woman and engraved Record Du monde or :Worlds Record. Extremely well made. We speculate that this may have been made for Mathilde Franck who flew a similar Farman biplane with similar look and with skids as wheels while in France at the same time. And amazing piece of jewelry. We have an estimate of 500 to 700 dollars but feel it may very well bring a lot a lot more from aviation collectors and especially those who collect women pilot and women aviators items.
