Two finely tapering fingers, with carved nails and incised joints.
The translation of the Egyptian word for these amulets is "finger of heavy stone" and their traditional position on the mummy is the left side of the pelvis, never higher than the stomach and represent an extra protection of the body. Overall, the double fingers amulets symbolised power and played a vital role in ancient Egyptian beliefs and practices.
