New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, 1550-1292 BC. A glazed composition dish with lotus flower and central disc decoration, bright blue with dark purple detailing. 140 grams, 13cm (5 1/4"). Ex private collection, UCP, with Bader Ancient Art, Switzerland, and in the Barbier Muller collection (now the Musée Barbier - Mueller Genève), previously in the collection of Rudolph Schmidt; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.163248-10051.
