Egyptian Bronze Standing Figure of Osiris

**First Time At Auction**

Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic period, ca. 664 to 30 BCE. A cast-bronze figure of Osiris, the god of the underworld. He stands in mummiform with fused legs, holds his heka scepter and flagellum in arms crossed atop his chest, and wears an Atef crown with a pair of ostrich feathers and a frontal uraeus atop his head. Mottled russet and green patina covers the entire figure. Size: 0.875" W x 2.3" H (2.2 cm x 5.8 cm); 3.8" H (9.7 cm) on included custom stand.

Provenance: private Healy collection, Studio City, California, USA, acquired over the last twenty years; ex-Arte Primitivo Gallery, New York, New York, USA
