Egyptian Figure of Pataikos

Late Period, 664-332 BC. A blue glazed composition pendant depicting Pataikos, a bandy legged dwarf with large bald head, ribbed suspension loop to the back; mounted on a custom-made display stand. 7.6 grams total, 54mm (2"). From the private collection of jewellery designer Natalia Josca (1933-2007), New York, USA; her collection formed personally from 1972-early 1980s, much of which was later made into designer jewellery.
