A cartonnage polychrome female mummy mask, the face gilded to imitate the golden skin of the gods, the surrounding hair represented in a dark, smoky blue recalling lapis lazuli, lotus flower headdress with lappet wings. 300 grams, 36cm (14 1/4"). From a private UK collection, formed 1920-1930s.
