Egyptian Limestone Coptic Head

6th-7th century AD. A limestone head from a relief, carved in the half-round with a round face, sloping almond-shaped eyes, straight nose and small, downturned mouth, ribbed headdress or hair texture above, fraction of the upper neck remaining. 536 grams, 90mm (3 1/2").
