Egyptian Mixed Amulet Group
Late Period, 664-332 BC. A group of three amulets comprising: a wedjat eye amulet with triangular eye and pupil, suspension loop above; a glass tilapia fish amulet, suspension loop to the open mouth; a large fragment of a glazed composition wedjat eye amulet, showing the right eye detailed in black. 30.9 grams total, 26-57mm (1 - 2 1/4"). Property of a Middlesex lady; acquired on the London art market in 2007; formerly in a private collection formed in the 1980s. [3]
