Egyptian Mosaic Glass Beads

7th-10th century AD or later. A group of eleven bifacial waisted tabular beads of various sizes, each with polychrome mosaic glass design composed of a single colourful-headed bird to the two principal faces, one standing left, one standing right, pierced vertically for suspension. 20.8 grams total, 13-16mm (1/2"). Previously in the collection of a respected gentleman, assembled between 1965-2018. [11, No Reserve]
