Egyptian Necklace with Amphora Pendants
Late Period, 664-332 BC. A restrung necklace composed of blue glazed composition amphora amulets interspersed with later white metal amphora pendants and small metal and glazed composition tubular beads; modern decorative clasp. 64 grams, 39cm (15 1/4"). From the private collection of jewellery designer Natalia Josca (1933-2007), New York, USA; her collection formed personally from 1972-early 1980s, much of which was later made into designer jewellery.
