Egyptian Pataikos Figure

Late Period, 664-332 BC. A deep blue glazed amulet of nude, bandy-legged Pataikos, holding a feather in his clenched fists, wearing a Broad Collar, standing on crocodiles with curving tails; a partial hieroglyph(?) or symbol to the base for the possible use as a seal. 19 grams, 51mm (2"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired in the 1970s. [No Reserve]
