An Egyptian Predynastic redware vessel, Naqada II, c. 3650 - 3300 BC, hand-modeled and piriform in shape with rolled narrow rim. The deep red-orange burnished surfaces well-preserved and a nice example! H: 4 ¼ in (10.8 cm). Light surface deposits, metal stand. Ex Australian private collection.
