Egyptian Scarab and Pendant Group

Late Period, 664-332 BC. A mixed group comprising a bone scarab bead with hieroglyphs to the underside and a glazed composition Bes bead. 2.5 grams total, 11-14mm (1/2"). From the private collection of jewellery designer Natalia Josca (1933-2007), New York, USA; her collection formed personally from 1972-early 1980s, much of which was later made into designer jewellery.
