A flat-lipped alabaster bowl with rounded underside. 6.8 kg, 45.5cm (18"). Very fine condition.
Provenance
From the Sidhu family collection; previously the property of the current owner’s late grandfather, Mr Havildar Sundar Singh Sidhu, who migrated from India to Kenya to become chief scoutmaster for Kenya in the 1950s, and later emigrated to London bringing with him his substantial collection, in the 1960s.
