An Egyptian alabaster cosmetic container, Late Period, c. 664 - 343 BC, the shape of a stretched oval, the base rounded and the sides tapering toward the mouth which possess a rounded profile, small lug handle to each side, neatly hollowed inside. H: 3 2/3 in (9.4cm). Nice patination. Ex Cheshire, England private collection.
