Egyptian alabaster footed cup, Middle Kingdom
A nice Egyptian alabaster footed cup, Middle Kingdom, c. 1975 - 1640 BC, with wide foot, slightly tapered walls and rounded rim. Carved from a light colored banded alabaster and quite nice. 2 1/4 x 3 1/8 in (5.7 x 7.9 cm). Ex Devon, UK private collection acquired in the 1950's - 60's, thence by descent.
