Ptolemaic Period, 332-30 BC and later. A mixed group of carved stone amulet pendants comprising: four in the shape of clenched fists with cuffs above, carved from different stones and in different styles; a carnelian amulet in the shape of a stylised dog head, with ear pointing forwards and stout muzzle with thin mouth; each pierced for suspension. 4.32 grams total, 10-20mm (1/4 - 3/4"). From an important North West London collection; acquired in the late 1980s-early 1990s. Probably related to the mano fica types. [5]
