A choice Egyptian faience scarab set in a lovely gold swivel ring. The vibrant blue faience scarab, New Kingdom, c. 1479 - 1075 BC, with cartouche with praenomen of Thutmose III reading 'Men-Kheper-re' New Kingdom, is set within a 10k swivel ring with wrapped wire around the shoulders. Ring size 8 3/4 - 9, scarab measures 16 x 11 mm. A lovely wearable piece! Ex Massachusetts private collection.
