A nice Egyptian green-glazed faience scarab set in a beautiful gold swivel ring. The scarab is a 2nd Intermediate example, c. 1750 - 1570 BC, with 'en ra' formula on the base. The scarab is set in a beautiful 18k gold ring crafted in ancient style with swivel mount. Ring size about 5 3/4. Ex New York private collection.
