Egyptian faience stamp seal, New Kingdom - Late Period
An Egyptian faience stamp seal, New Kingdom to Late Period, 19th - 25th Dynasties, c. 1315 - 664 BC, the handle in the form of a bundle, on base a 'Men' sign about a stylized lotus flower. 20 x 13 mm. Glaze now a pale blue with light deposits. Ex collection of Judge Elbert Eli Farman passed to his daughter, Lois Farman (wife of Gen. R. C. Richardson Jr.) to their son Brig. Gen. R. C. Richardson III and to the present Richardson family.
