Egyptian steatite plaque with Thutmose III cartouche
An Egyptian steatite plaque, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, on side with a cartouche containing the praenomen of pharaoh Thutmose III and reads 'beloved of Amun-Re'. The opposite side is adorned with a central interlocking scroll motif with for uraei at the corners. 17 x 12 mm. A nice example drilled lengthwise for suspension.
