An Egyptianizing male sandstone head, Levantine/Phoenician, c. 1000 - 600 BC, wearing a short wig, the facial features nicely carved with large almond-shaped eyes and angular nose, left hand atop his head. H: 5 1/4 in (13.3cm). Light deposits mounted on a square wood base. Ex Mathias Komor, New York.
