Eight 18th/19th C. Mahogany Chippendale Chairs
Set of eight American carved mahogany dining chairs circa 1780-1810, Washington DC area, to include two armchairs and six side chairs. Ornate carved top rail over reticulated carved back splat, shaped seats, fluted straight legs. Armchairs measures 38.25" h. x 26" x 22.5". Ex Benfield Museum Collection. Condition: One arm chair with splice to back leg. Possible older refinish with several showing drips, nice patina.
