Consisting of 18 large tablespoons, with large pointed bowl, fiddle handle and thread pattern; each spoon hand engraved with Earl of Sefton crest (A Chapeau Gules turned up Ermine and with a plume of peacock's feathers proper). Each piece marked with king's; head right, lion passant, leopard head, date letters for 1836 and 1837, and maker's marks for Jonathan Hayne and Hayne & Cater, London on the handle back. Total weight 66.52 toz.
Condition: Very good, some tarnish and polish residues, very light wear from use.
