Bought from Sol Shalevitz when he sold his collection. He was the father of Lee Shale who had a rock shop/Jewelry Store for years over on Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles when he was married to his first wife, a German girl who his father Saul called "That German bitch". Sol was a diamond dealer for years down in the jewelry district in Los Angeles. He had a fine mineral collection and I got a number of things from him when he sold it." - Rock H. Currier Rock was fond of specimens with a bit of history behind them and he wasn't shy about relating the 'colorful' stories that went with them.
