The plates of a peculiar form with a straight steep walled rim, decorated in the centre with a large scene of two flying phoenixes over a resting scholar attended by a servant boy. Marked with a lingzhi.

Most plates with rim fritting/chips and four plates with a hairline. Seven plates with no hairlines. One plate with a slightly ground rim (to remove fritting). No other restoration. One plate with a small patch in the glaze of yellowing (manufacturing flaw, see close-up photo).
