Here is a wonderful pen and watercolour by the listed French Artist Elie Lascaux. The painting features a town harbour with boats. Painting signed lower right LASCAUX. She was born in Limoges in 1888 and died in 1969. Friends from 1920 onwards of all the great names of the artistic and literary avant-garde: the painters Suzanne VALADON, André MASSON and Pablo PICASSO.
