Two letters typed on Faber & Faber Ltd. letterhead, both addressed to Ellen Wiese, thanking her for writing, and trying to arrange a meeting in the first, and thanking her for sending a French Bible in the second, each with its original typed envelope, 8 x 6 7/8 in. [together with] a collection of correspondence related to 1959 Harvard Ph.D. recipient Ellen P. Wiese, most letters addressed to Wiese, some written by Wiese to her parents while she was abroad in the 1950s.
