The 1966 Sovereign is part of the Mary Gillick series produced to supply the continuing international demand for British gold coins. Its mintage of 7,050,000 makes the date readily available, but examples preserved in the highest grades are much less frequently encountered.

Graded NGC MS66, the present coin is one of the finest, and will no doubt be highly sought after.
