Condition Report:
This work is in very good and sound condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges and corners of each element, with a few scattered and unobtrusive losses to the extreme edges of the artist’s wooden stretcher, most notably an approximately 3 ½ inches loss in the lower left quadrant at the tip of the element 16 ½ inches from the left edge. There is evidence of faint stable hairline craquelure throughout, most notably in the light brown pigment and in the areas of thicker impasto. The impasto peaks appear secure and intact. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, the surface fluoresces irregularly but is not the result of restoration. The colors are bright and fresh. Unframed.
