Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the backing board in numerous places and undulates slightly. All four edges are deckled with some slight discolouration to the lower horizontal edge. There are two artist pinholes towards the centre of the upper horizontal edge, one of which has a minute associated tear. The sheet is slightly faded and there are four small lighter areas which relate to historic hinging. Extremely close inspection reveals a horizontal crease running through the lower part of the composition. Very close inspection reveals two media accretions in the upper left quadrant, and a few spots of foxing in isolated places throughout.
