This ageless and elegant style icon is one of Patek Philippe‘s most beautiful models. It features the typical elegant ellipsoidal case and the gently shimmering blue-gold dial with exquisite indexes and hands. The Ellipse D'Or came in many variations. This piece has a horizontally oval yellow gold case, a shimmering blue dial and a beautiful integrated Milanaise bracelet. Patek Philippe launched reference 3545 in 1969 and continued to produce it until circa 1979.Case and bracelet have developed a beautiful patina as well as a rare gold oxide over the years, indicating that the watch has not been worn very often. The oxide layer can be removed with a simple polish but is highly prized by most collectors.
